Expect temperatures to be in the 90s in Bakersfield this weekend

Kern County is holding on to the 80s for one more day, before a warm up arrives this weekend. 

By Friday, temperatures will be slightly warmer but still seasonal along with breezy conditions in the mountains. Thunderstorms will continue to develop along the Sierra Nevada into the weekend and next week. Air quality will be moderate with an AQI of 54.
